Things we love: Beecology

beecology body wash

Last year I reviewed several Beecology products and I really loved them. Recently Beecology sent me another selection from their fantastic line, several of their soaps and their Natural Lavender & Bergamot Best Body Wash. As with all Beecology products, these are beautifully made naturally based products- SLS-free, no artificial colors or chemical preservatives. Add to that a fantastic array of sent options and you have products that you just can’t resist.

I love the Lavender & Bergamot Body Wash and have been using it daily since it arrived. Having tried the Honey & Peppermint and the Grapefruit & Lemongrass, I knew how great these Body Washes are, but I was still excited to try this scent combination. The lavender and bergamot is really lovely and the formula is gentle even on my obscenely sensitive skin. And I also love knowing that all Beecology products are free of all the yucky things I try to avoid.

For the first review, I didn’t have the chance to try any of the bar soaps, so I was thrilled to find a box full of so many of their beautiful handmade soaps, Honey Oatmeal Morning Peppermint, Honey & Lavender, Tee Tree Oil, Dead Sea Mud and Java Soappuccino Coffee Soap. And, I have to say, they are all as wonderful as I though they would be. And, yes, all I really want now is to try the remaining bars, which sound just as tempting as these. Each bar is handmade from perfectly lovely natural ingredients that work together to form a beautiful, gentle moisturizing soap. These soaps also look great in the soap dish which is always a nice bonus. The Java Soappuccino Coffee Soap is great for the kitchen with a cocoa/coffee scent, it smells great and is naturally helps wipe out those lingering cooking smells on your hands. And for the shower, both of the honey soaps are lovely, peppermint or lavender, great for starting or ending the day. Each soap offers it’s own benefits, so there’s bound to be one (or all) for you.

I also love that 10% of Beecology’s net profit is donated to good causes. Even better, when you make a purchase, you can choose where your portion goes through Beecology’s charity web site partner, SweetYear.org
