This time it's things for children & those who love them.
Glamourmom is re-releasing their super fantastic nursing bra, the Mbody Starter Nursing Bra. This really is my favorite nursing bra of all time. I breastfeed 4 children over the course of 6 or so years, so I have tried quite a few and this really is the one I would recommend first. It's designed for those early days of breastfeeding when you need a bra that changes constantly with your constantly changing supply and demand issues. The Mbody adjusts over two sizes to get you straight through engorgement and it's so comfortable you really can wear it 24 hours a day. Even better, it's so easy to use, with a full drop away cup and easy one-handed clasp, that even a massively sleep deprived mother of a newborn can easily nurse in the dark (or light really) when she is barely functional. It's so fabulous that you will continue to wear it comfortably for as long as you breastfeed. It's even a great bra to buy while you're still pregnant and I continued to wear mine for several months after I quit breastfeeding daughter last year. I just wish it had been released much earlier in my breastfeeding career and perhaps, a few more colors would be nice too.
Another super cool item for the nursing mommy or really any new mommy or helper daddy, is Aidan + Anis' Serenity Star. This cute little star gives you a feeding diary, sound machine, room temp indicator, night light and a clock in one cute package. You can not only keep track of when your last feeding was, you can even keep track of which side you last fed your little one on if you are breastfeeding. It can make nights, and days, with a newborn so much easier. Also, new from Aiden + Anis is the Easy Swaddle, which safely swaddles your baby without the difficulty of wrapping correctly. I especially like the Liam the Brave Paintbrush stripe.
It may seem like a diaper pail isn't realy something that shoudl ever be considered fun, but if you've seen as many of them in your home as I have, you might think differently if you see one that you actually wouldn't mind looking at AND it actually works. It's steel construction comes with a super tight seal that locks in the smelly stuff, a space saving design and it can use regular tall kitchen garbage bags, which is very handy (Ubbi does make liners if you prefer). For those who cloth diaper or who prefer a more eco friendly liner option, Ubbi make a waterproof, odor resistant cloth diaper liner, which can just get tossed in the wash with the rest if your diapers. There are even 9 sets of 20 removable, washable decals if you want to customize or cute up your diaper pail a bit more. Best of all, the Ubbi diaper pail comes in 10 colors. My favorite are the Robin's Egg blue (shown) and the giggle editon Orange. Avaiable at giggle.
This is my favorite CD for children at the moment and in my top 3 of all time. It's so good, you won't want to cry when you hear it over and over for days, weeks or months at a time. We have a full review coming up soon, but I "borrowed" it when it arrived and couldn't stand to give it up long enough to pass it on for review (sorry Caspar). My children all have their favorite songs, which they know by number, but I really do like them all. I'm singing "Too Dirty to Love" in my head right now. Available for download on Caspar's site, through the iTunes store or buy the CD at CD Baby.
