I have to confess that my mind has been elsewhere for, it seems like years, but it's really only been a matter of weeks. We are is the midst of an attempt to move from our current very pretty all done up house to a house that, technically, is newer that our house, but needs more work than I can say. it's also been a rather convoluted mess working this whole deal out and it's still on "iffy" status, despite the fact that our tentative moving date is about 3 weeks away. I visited said house yesterday and am rather freaking out at the job I've possibly set us up for. So, instead of dwelling on the mess that had been both the deal and will continue to be the house, I'm trying very hard to stop focusing on how to fix said mess and look at pretty, pretty things that might someday make that house look like this house, but oh so much better.
One lovely place I've just found, that is actually within the borders on the United States and thus easily shopable, is Terrain . There is actually a shop in Westport, CT, not far from where I used to live. They offer a selection of really beautiful items for both inside and outside the home. And they are beautiful. Zinc Shaker chairs, Vintage Olive baskets, fabulous lighting, super cool bocce balls, sun printing kits, bird bingo, salt water taffy, even vintage brooches & chevron gelato spoons, the list goes on & on. Even the straws are pretty. A mini selection is below. Visit the site to see oh so much more.
